The purpose of the New Mexico Faceters Guild is to bring together persons who are interested in faceting or faceted stones. We promote the art and science of faceting and provide a means of education and improvement in faceting skills. Finally, we provide a means of communication­ between those persons involved in or interested in faceting as a hobby.

Upcoming October 12 Workshop

The next NMFG faceting workshop will be Sunday, 12 Oct 2025, at the Placitas Community Library, 453 Hwy 165, Placitas 87043, with set-up starting at 8:30AM and 9 AM to 3 PM for the workshop.  We’ll follow the usual format of spending most of the time at your machines.  Instructors will be available to assist anyone needing help.  The cost is $15.00 per person to cover …

NMFG Sept Workshop

We had another good gathering and filled the room for our September workshop. A lot of work was accomplished and one gem was completed. See the photos below for the completed gem; it was cut from a laser cube. Everyone who attended received a door prize and Andy had books for the attendees to choose.
